Mahatma Khushi Ram Public Library & Reading Room Society, Dehradun has tied up with Mohit College of Education, Yamuna Colony, Chakrata Road, Dehradun to run “MY COMPUTER CLASSES” for aspiring students of Doon as well as Reading Room Members of the Library who are preparing for various competitive examinations or looking for self-employment or jobs in the Govt/Public/Private/Banking Sectors. MCE which is accredited and established in running Computer Training for Diploma/BCA/MCA Courses in Uttarakhand since the last several years will provide the professional & technical back-up and support in initially running batches of 10 students each to begin from 1/Oct/24 @ MKRP Library daily on all working days between 9 AM up to 7 PM. The fees structure for these Courses has been kept affordable and low so as to suit all categories of income groups. Registration is open in the Library premises at the KIOSK set up for this purpose . Registration fee of Rs 300 is payable at the Counter which also entitles you to facilities available to Reading Room Members of the Library. MKRP Library is registered U/s 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act as well as with the Registrar of Companies, Govt. of India for receiving Grants from companies under CSR i.e Corporate Social Responsibility. We request your support as we will be providing (1) Canvas, (2) Acrylic Paints and Water Colours, (3) Boards and rented Easels, (4) Lunch, tea and refreshments for three days, (5) Transportation for anyone with special needs and (6) Honorarium & Certificates.
This will cost Rs. 5000/- per participant, even if they bring their own paint brushes and we have our own staff and volunteers to supervise and coordinate the event. As we estimate around 40 artists in this workshop, we will need a minimum of Rs. 2 Lacs for this event alone. We will start registration of Budding Artists from Schools, Colleges, Institutions in Dehradun like FMPA, Cheshire Home, Bajaj Institute for Deaf & Dumb and the open public once we have Sponsors.
