Through a committee of professionals and a group of dedicated volunteers, the work of Mahatma Khushi Ram continues after a hundred years. We thank organizations like ONGC (Oil & Natural Gas Commission) and many individual donors during past years for supporting us.
With hundreds of membership using our facilities, we are progressing to become a ‘Human Library’ in which professionals can interact, network, learn and leverage from each other.
For our next phase and vision 2022-25, we plan to develop and invest in the following:
a) Air-Conditioning system for Multi-Purpose Community Hall
b) Audio-Video Projectors
c) Sound Proofing of reading halls
d) Annual Maintenance of furniture, lighting and other infrastructure
e) Installation of a 4-Passenger, two floor lift for visiting senior citizens and disabled persons
f) A state-of-the-art studio with two person workstation for online/offline work
g) Digitization & computerized catalogue rare & old books like the Puranas, Vedas & Upanishads
h) Fire-proof cabinets for rare books
i) Installation of solar-panel system to become self-sufficiency in electricity
j) A rain water harvesting system for washrooms.
k) An in-house cafeteria to be attached with the newly created ‘Authors Lounge’
